A Visit To The Dollmaker
Today is my dear friend Evi's birthday and I spent the day with her in her beautiful home with her lovely, fairy tale gardens...
We spent some time in Evi's studio where she creates her original handmade dolls. I am helping Evi work on the beginnings of a blog shop where she intends to share and sell her wondrous creations.
Because it was her birthday, Evi received many telephone calls from her family and friends wishing her happy birthday.
Each time she got a call, I used the opportunity to take a closer look and photograph some of the little details of her marvelous collections which she displays in her studio.
A number of years ago, Evi created her rendition of "The Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe"...
Evi's sweet husband Eb considers this doll to be his very favorite.
I had a perfectly lovely day!
I am hoping to spend some time with another special friend this weekend and if it all works out we will be at Brimfield amidst fields of treasure!
I hope you have time this weekend to do something fun too!
:)
Happy Birthday to the wonderful Dollmaker!!!
