This afternoon I had a long conversation with my dear friend Evi, the dollmaker ....she is busy preparing for a show next month. Speaking with her reminded me of her amazing talents and attention to detail in all that she creates and in the decorating of her beautiful home...
This collage consists of a few pictures taken in a guest bathroom in her home...

The wonderful treasure found in those two cigar boxes a few weeks ago....I can't wait to find a few hours to sort through these fabulous rosaries and religious medals, clean and polish them and put them to use as embellishments in art projects and decorating....
What would you do with them?
A few more details and vignettes found in Evi's home...
She is a master at finding unique antique treasure and then incorporating those finds into her elegant, eclectic European styled home...
I can't wait to see the new dolls and other creations she will be exhibiting at the show!
Hope your day tomorrow brings all good things!

Laura.....how great! I add them to my tassels (hanging from my kitchen hutch) - I pin them onto a corner of a fabric frame - near my bedside - one spectacular one in a silver dish in my bathroom -
I like the subtle reminders of faith everywhere I turn -
have fun using them all!
I just love "STUFF"! I am always disappointed when I come home without it. Tami E.
What a fabulous find in a cigar box!!! Fabulous! Stan
Hey Laura, your mosaics of Evi's house are amazing. And then there's your cigar box finds...yum. You have such an eye for the good stuff. Everything you bring home I would break in and steal...if I lived closer.
I loved your post on the spooky mosaics. Those gloves were a little creepy. I love how your mind works.
Hugs,
June
Fabulous details. I am so smitten with details that I use a magnifying glass to see all of the small obscure details in magazine photos. Thanks for sharing these! ~Jermaine~

Hi Laura,
you made wonderful mosaics out of your pics from Evi's house. Love that big mirror and the lovely refelections. Those hanging there must be antique purses. Gorgeous, and you are a super blog hostess, as usual.
