Some tiny French pots found at Brimfield five or six years ago...
Love the mosses, ferns and ground cover in these mountains...
I wonder if this will work....planting some in these old pots...
If I keep them moist and in a shady spot....do you think they will survive?
Inside? Over the winter?
Do I have a chance?

I am sure they would thrive in a basement or bathroom!!
I use a humidifier too when I bring in my pants for the Winter.. can't wait to see how yours grow!!
I think if you keep them in as close of an enviroment that they came from, they should survive. Good Luck.

You show us wonderful photos all the time...however, I would love to see some of your interiors. I know with your talent they would be wonderful.
you do, but I would change the soil by December - and don't forget to fertilize them - they are used to being in rich soil there in the mountains.

Hey Laura,
Those will do fine in the shade but the pots are so small and the clay dries fast so don't let them dry out. Bring them inside in the winter but root prune some of them if they get pot bound....so much work(ugh)

Let them spend time in the bathroom while you shower & yes indeedy they will. I always love moss. I miss my moss covered brick pathways....
I hope you rare more sucessful that I was. I tried it back in March and , oh well...maybe my "green thumb' is not that green after all...sigh...
