Love the green "thing" and your photos are fascinating and could certainly be used as a source of inspiration for some textile creation - I'll work on it!
I love the frog, Laura.....it has taken on that lovely verdi gris patina....I love that, although sometimes the taps in my bathroom have been known to take on that same look !!!!!
There's nothing like vintage garden accessories. I've never seen a frog like yours, nor that type of a claw (I've always called them 'diggers')! Thanks for the wonderful visuals! Blessings, Susie
Aren't these just the cutest. Eye candy, that's what I call just fun garden finds. Love the red handles. Beautiful blog, am glad to start following a fellow gardener
I adore them too. That top picture is fabulous and really cool!!! I was going around the house today and noticed how many frogs I had....holy moly....a lot. rribbiitt
Hi, dearest Laura - at the moment I am not fast enough for your postings! Wonderful pictures (I also like this stuff - but I don't have any idea what the green "thing" - "frog" - on the first photo is for...?!?) And I also like your posting about words! So many thanks again, dear Laura! Hugs, Traude

I LOVE the green frog - it is sculptural, don't you think? You are so good - here I think I have to write all this text on my blog and you just post a couple of fantastic pictures that say it all - I love it. I have a "claw" I am going to post - you have inspired me!! I always enjoy my visits to 52 FLEA!
Grateful and content...
...life long collector of objects with history and soul; discovering my creative self and sharing bits and pieces along the way...
To live content with small means.... To seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion.... To be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich.... To study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly.... To listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with open heart.... To bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never.... In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common.... ...........this is to be my symphony.
Thank you to all the kindred spirits and kind souls who take the time to leave a comment......Your support and encouragement are deeply appreciated.....I read each and every message and as time allows, do my best to reply.

Isn't it amazing how simple everyday items such as these garden tools look more like art when their photographed. I love it!
