Found in the Adirondacks
A few more photographs of objects and images from the north country....
These old brass stencils were picked up at a sale years ago....love the brass...the numbers and the letters ....still useful and still fun to play with...
Found objects, bits of nature under a cloche....
Pine needle souvenir pillows.....
A few more from our collection of gardening and nature books...
Our beautiful lake on a cloudy misty morning last week....
There's lots to see....lots to find in these mountains...
How fortunate we are to be able to spend time here...I can thank my great grandparents for choosing to build their camp here and beginning our family tradition of vacationing in this beautiful area....We have been coming here all my life and I have to be careful not to take it for granted!
Oh Lovely books!!! And the stencils are just great!!

ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how much I love this post! So many of these things are among my favorites to collect--the books, of course, but also the stencils and the souvenir pillows (I grew up in Maine, so I have a soft spot for these) . . . I'm swooning!
