Spring Flowers in the Adirondacks

The view from the bench at lakeside....that water is freezing cold this time of year....

The ferns drift over from the woods onto the clearing of our yard....

Sprouting up under the shady pines and right through the twig furniture.....

Giant Solomon's Seal....

Such fragile white "bells" swing down toward the pine carpet.....

These delicate woodland flowers are just amazing to me....

Trillium......I don't see them often... apart from the woods....but this one comes up in our garden at the lake each spring.....
Hope tomorrow is a peaceful and calm day for all.....

  2. How nice :) Ever since I have started blogging, and it's turned into Spring everyone has shown such a great appreciation for nature, that it's changed me too! Not that I didn't appreciate it before but once I got older, got a car, job, and school, I hadn't taken the time for it.

    All the best,
    Allison

  11. Your so luck to have trillium. I could make a fortune if I carried it. It's the prized shade plant. Hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend. Today was crazy and tomorrow will be crazier. Wish me luck!!!
