Still playing with Picnik.
I took this photo while in Lucca, Italy...it was just last year around this time.
We had an amazing trip which included a special visit with Vale and Paola from
Les Cotrions!
It has been fun to look through my photos and remember all the beautiful places we saw and all the things we did while on our trip to Italy.
I couldn't resist playing with some of the photos!
...in fact, it is getting hard to resist tinkering with every photo!
Looks fantastic, I have played a around a little with Picnik but looks like you have it figured out!

ReplyDeleteahh yes...playing with photos is addictive! i can think of worse things........your first photo is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDear Laura,
ReplyDeleteYour photograph from Lucca is just perfect....it really sums Lucca up....the colours, the content, the lengthening shadows.....juat a memory for me now, even though it was only last month, it seems an age away.
Mmmmm , I wonder what your big projects involve ?!! XXXX
I've been having fun with it, too~ so much easier than my photoshop!
ReplyDeleteThis looks gorgeous and yes, I can understand what you're doing, working with pictures is totaly addictive!!:)
ReplyDeleteI love these photographs the way they look in vintage-style!!
Regards, Veronique byebye!
After hearing your critique of Picnik I tried to subscribe but I can't seem to make it get past their intro page effectively. *le sigh* I know I would have a blast making my photos more interesting and Artistic! I love what you've done to yours and can see that it could become addictive *wink*... but it's good to take some time out for play as well as putting our noses to the grindstone.

Fine day
Beautiful pictures! I totally agree with you - It's so hard to stop "playing" and tackle those big projects! Honestly, I want to do everything - My the current book, my history blog about St. Nicholas, and just visit everyone out there in blogger world! Not to mention all those lovely things to do in the "Real" world like visiting over a cup of coffee with friends and relatives! But I am so glad to have found you! You have a lovely site!

Editing photos IS addicting...!
ReplyDeleteHi Laura,
ReplyDeleteI'm on the Picnik team and wanted to say that I enjoyed the photos.
I also wanted to reply to Bohemian, who earlier in the comment thread mentioned that she couldn't get in to Picnik.
@Bohemian: follow these steps to get picnik to load for you -- http://www.google.com/support/picnik/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=179562
Hope this helps,
