It seems that the weather is all over the place this spring...
teasing us with summer warmth for a few days...
only to return to the winter chills again.
Well, I guess now that I think about it...
...that is typical spring time weather!
Anyway, the week before Easter I made it to my fav flea
and despite threatening skies...
I was able to bundle up, stay warm and get to see some junk!
Here are a few pics I snapped to share...
I'm thinking thoughts of Goldilocks or The Three Amigos here...
Pitchers of daffodils...
and wooden buckets of pussy-willows...
taken with gloved fingers and my pocket canon...
Loved this little case full of vials...
...a vacant house
...pearly white buttons
... a drawer full of tomato red pin cushions
...lovely ephemera
...sealing wax
...a pretty pansy painting
...and this last picture is for my grown up son...
It looks like the floor of his room 20 years ago!
Hoping you are having a good Wednesday!
:)
Hi Laura,
ReplyDeleteI asked about that little green house and was told that it was from a child's old train station. And that box of buttons...I wanted to buy the little set of drawers but it wasn't for sale. We have the same taste:) Don't forget to take home bouquet of fresh flowers from my favorite guys there. Always a beautiful buy:)

Capers of the vintage vixens
Awesome goodies!
ReplyDeleteThat last photo reminds me of my sons room too.
In fact, I had all his "men" until last year, when I sold most of them in a yard sale. *keeping only his fav's.
I must admit, it brought tears to my eyes when the lady walked away with a big sack of them. She was buying them for her grandsons though, so that helped knowing they got to be enjoyed by another little one.
Sorry to babble on and on. ;)
Hugs,
Tam
I would have had to have a trailer!
ReplyDeleteThe chemists vials and jars are pretty cool.
