Spent the weekend getting things ready for the shop...
...pricing and packing.
A flea market fix made it fun...but boy... am I tired tonight!
...a good kind of tired.
These visitors may look harmless, beautiful and peaceful...
...but they're eating all the buds on our flowers!
Back to the woods you three!
Scram!
Busy week ahead for me.
How about you?
I have never seen or heard of white pansies - oh my word, how awesome!
ReplyDeleteALSO we have a problem with deer too - yes yes skeedattle you varmits!
Your white pansies are stunning, so fresh and simple. I was just thinking about wild critters today. We discovered a squirrel in our neighborhood this winter. First one ever (we live in a dessert area and squirrels are very new to our part of the world) well, I got so excited about him that I started feeding him. So now he likes hanging out in our backyard and I like watching him. But now, it's time to plant my little backyard pea patch and I'm wondering if it's going to be squirrel feed. I guess time will tell. If he eat them, then he needs them more than me. Have a great week, I love your photos, Connie :)
ReplyDeleteYour pansies are so pretty, I just love white flowers! Yay for getting things ready for the shop, and boo to those flower munching visitors!
ReplyDeleteKat
Love the white pansies, and the deer!! Ours are more scarce and shy, and they mow just a little; try as I may the critters share my garden.
ReplyDeleteLaura: So simple yet so elegant! Love the white pansies in the zinc container! Just read the post of the glass jar and lace!! Once again, so simple yet so lovely!!
ReplyDeleteAlways love following all you do! Hope your dad is doing well . . .with you at his side, so very special!

I can hardly wait to start buying and planting flowers! Those 3 rascals have guilt written all over their faces!
ReplyDeletePansies have the sweetest faces in the world! You captured their beauty. Deer have sweet faces, too, but cost us hundreds of dollars after eating our new landscape plants and requiring we invest in a deer fence for the back yard. We left the front for them. (ours aren't afraid of people)
ReplyDeleteOoohhhhh Laura your touch is always sooooo magical!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you my dear friend.
The pansies are so sweet! BTW Can you tell us again where your shop is and the name, details? A dear friend of mine lives in...?what we Long Islanders call Upstate New York, and if/ when I visit her, I d love to find your shop! Wouldn t that be a thrill!
ReplyDeleteOr you can email info

White pansies in a galvanized bucket.....perfect! I'm actually working on a 'galvanized' garden...just planting white flowers in buckets. I'll post when it's done!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week, and I hope you are doing great in your shop.
Hugs, Susie

ReplyDeleteyou have inspired me to hit the garden this weekend and get planting
ReplyDeleteI hear you about your visitors. We also have them and they come right up onto my porch and eat my flowers. Scram.
ReplyDeleteI love white pansies in the garden, so fresh and lovely and pure. They always look to me like little smiling garden faces the way they tip us a bit. These look extra charming in that great zinc bucket! What a great combination. Alas! Our poor deer; so beautiful to gaze upon but so ghastly to our yards and gardens.
ReplyDeleteLove the pansies in the bucket! Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteMary Alice
I love seeing deer show up in our back yard. I don't have any flowers out back for them to lunch on. They always destroyed my pansies in the front yard. I finally quit planting them.
ReplyDeleteI have some pots of purple pansies, but your white ones look so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHello Laura...I agree with the good kind of tired! Getting ready for our show is wiping me out but it is fun all the same! Beautiful photos and maybe I should take a break and buy myself some flowers!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I just came across your blog, love it! you def have a new follower!
