Even though it won't be too long before we see them again,
it was hard to say goodbye to Dad and sister Lynn...
...and all the beauty that there is in Florida.
Good bye Florida!
We pulled into the driveway this afternoon...
... the forsythia branches were bursting with sunny yellow blossoms,
the pale jonquils and daffodils were lifting their heads high
in the garden beneath the kitchen window...
and the hyacinths were vivid in pinks and purples.
What a welcome!
Spring is in full swing ...
I can't wait to take some pictures tomorrow...
...of the beauty that is in New York!
:)
Oh your pictures are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMy mom and dad had a home right on the beach on the west side of Florida and I used to go every Feb. for two weeks.......they and the house there are long gone, but there isn't a time in Feb or early March where I don't think of those wonderful years and the time spent in beautiful Florida when usually Ohio was grey cold and bleh.
THIS year is so weird we pretty much didn't have much of a winter, so I am loving this colorful burst of spring, too.
Welcome home! So glad you made it back safely!
Beautiful blooms!! Welcome home :o) Have a great weekend!!!

I grew up in Florida and I used to go to see my family a lot from where I live in Ohio all the time. Now they're gone and I never forget the great times in Florida. Now I try to go there every year. These are beautiful photos! I know these places.
