Paper Bird Wreath

One of the treasures I brought home from Carole's Christmas shop
at Maynard Greenhouse was a Wendy Addison,
beautiful wire wreath with cut out birds.

I have been playing with it...creating different vignettes.
You know how that goes...
...shouldn't I be wrapping presents? baking cookies? organizing and cleaning out?

Here it is sitting on this vintage mirror plateau...
...but it is just as pretty hanging on the wall.
It can be kept out all year long...not just at Christmas.

So pretty!

OK....back to work, Laura!

FOCUS!
:)

Thank you very much dear Laura, for your good wishes for Oskar, he sends a big purr and recover slowly but surely but still has to live in a cage we had special made for him. The poor 'thing' is a prisoner for several weeks...

MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your family,

  14. Laura, I love that wire wreath with birds on the mirror. Your blog always has such delightful, interesting eye-candy. Love the previous red display, too and the darling snow man on the one before that! May I wish you a lovely Christmas, with wonderful memories of your dear mother. There will be sad moments, but remember all the moments you had with her of pure love and pleasure. I do that ...I just try to think of all the great memories I have of my mother. Merry Christmas, Egretta
