I tied a festive red ribbon around Ellie's neck
and put her in the pile of things to go up to the shop.
She sat up front with me while Mr. Flea did the driving.
He glanced over at us in the passenger seat and remarked,
"I can't believe you're selling that".
To which I replied, "I can't either".
That old softie, Mr. Flea said, "Don't".
I didn't!
