Meet Noelle....
Her gown this year is fashioned almost entirely of paper.
Michele, of Taken For Granite in Stony Creek, CT told me that she and her sister had a lot of fun creating this work of art!
I can only imagine the time it took!
...a close up of the back of the gown...
Amazing!
Paula and I were in awe of this fabulous display featuring a vintage cement swan filled with silvery baby's breath....
Not surprisingly...it sold while we were there!
I loved this really cool lampshade made with vellum
and vintage photographs.
Just look at this cloche filled with clock faces and silvery branches.
This shop is chock full of inspiration!
Here are some photos of what we saw and a sampling of the wonderful goods to be found at this enchanting shop.
...and to think that there are linens and dishware
and fabulous clothes in this shop as well!
Stony Creek , CT
Loved it!
:)
Stay tuned for day 2 of my Connecticut visit!
We will visit Deanna and her shop Gather next...
...plus a few wonderful shops in Chester, CT.
You visit the most interesting shoppes! That paper dress is amazing!
