We enjoyed the flea market at The Church of Miracles in Venice
so much that we made our way back there on Sunday morning...
...all by ourselves! :)
As we rounded the corner and the flea market came into view...
I felt my heart flutter...
It seems no matter where in the world I happen to be...
...if I am under the sun, with tables full of treasures to discover...
I am happy and content!
So, without further chatter...
with my little old, pocket Canon SD600 in hand...
here is some of what I saw:
Even, Mr. Flea found something he wanted...
Oh my!
Oops! There's Dad...
I think he's had enough flea market for the day...
...time to find a place to sit down and have a cappuccino
and a chocolate croissant!
It was so much fun to visit this flea market in Venice...
...and now you have too!
:)
Thank you Walter, Daniela and Alfredo!
Thank you for all those photos; they are lovely! I hope you don't have too bad weather!AriadnefromGreece!
ReplyDeleteOh Laura,
ReplyDeleteI can't think of a better place to visit a flea market. We must get back to Venice very soon. It is one of my most favourite and magical places of all.
.....and what treasures....the white gloves, the chandelier wall sconce, the old letters, the white china butter dish, the old books, the perfume bottles....all of these things I can see being used behind those beautiful old shutters in Venice.
How come I didn't see a flea market when we were there ? You are one lucky girl !! XXXX

I know the feeling when you happen upon a flea market, three years ago I was in Germany, experienced the very same thing. However some of the vendors were not happy about me taking photos. It was interesting, I did get the photos I wanted, once I realized what was happening there. Thanks for sharing. Florence
