Fancy Flea Finds

One of my favorite booths at The Fancy Flea was Gray Branches...

I get weak in the knees just looking at this gorgeous
 blue velvet frame.

Wonderful collection of old watch faces...

And here she is!
I was so happy to meet the lovely Sue (Sue Bee)
 and her partner Kathy
in their booth Chic and Shabby.
Sorry I did not get your photo Kathy!

They had so many pretty things...

House of Envy

Why oh why did I pass up on this beautiful old tin?
I love this pastoral scene...

Sweet violets.
I bought the same little round paper box
at a Paris flea market many years ago.

Something for everyone.

  9. Hello Laura,

I´m a reader of your blog from germany. I have a passion for old beautiful things and fleamarkets too and I see a lot of wonderful things at your pictures. Especially the little salt and pepper shakers with forgetmenots - so lovely. I love such sweet china. I would wish we would have such beautiful and interesting fleamarkets in germany too. I live near france and go soemtimes there to fleas and found many nice things but mostly expensive. But I bring home one or two goodies from every flea.

    Have a nice week,
    Tanja

  10. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. I think I would have had to leave my belongings behind so that I would have room to bring back some of those beautiful pieces.

    Smiles,

  19. Have really enjoyed your recent posts. The chandelier was a great finale! I have my eye on the small silver teapot, the white wicker basket (with ladies gloves sitting on top), the watch faces, and the stack of white frames (underneath the white table).

  28. Hello Laura~I've just strolled in for my first visit...I've enjoyed taking a peek at your posts. You've got so many wonderful treasures. Your blog is so beautifully inviting.
We share similar taste for so many of the same design elements. I would have left skid marks on my credit card had I gone to that flea market. It reminds me of the one held in the Pasedena Bowl in southern CA...which I'd love to attend as well.

As fall comes to a close I look forward to winter that's fast approaching. Bringing a festive inspiration for trimming my home and filling the air with the aromas of the season.

The evergreen decor is much appreciated by the cat who enjoys an occasional game of ping pong with my ornaments...

I look forward to coming by your charming blog again.
Come by for a visit. I'll put the kettle on... your company would be nice.

    Sweet holiday wishes,
    Sara
