My plan this weekend was to take my new camera out to capture the fall colors, but Mother Nature isn't cooperating in MN. Our leaves are just starting to turn,so I'll enjoy your beautiful pictures for now. Is there anything prettier than the reflection of fall trees in the water!?
Oh, sooo beautiful! After growing up in Vermont and now living in Colorado I really miss the red leaves. I didn't realize the beauty when I lived in VT, the leaves changed every year, what was the big deal? NOW I get it. They only turn yellow here and occasionally they turn muted orange or red. I miss the brilliant reds of the whole mountain side. I love the pond pictures (they would call that a lake here in CO!). Gorgeous!
Sigh. Such beauty! Thank you for sharing. I miss living in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Lived there for 10 years. I also miss the cider donuts. I now live in the midwest. It's harvest time here.
How beautiful it is around that lake and with every photo, you are showing us a constantly changing landscape. Here in Florida, Fall is very, VERY subtle, so I do appreciate the color you have shown us! Lovely post.
Beautiful picture! Planning on heading to the mountains tomorrow to see what the trees are doing here in Colorado. Hopefully I can get some inspiration for some fall paintings.
Hi Laura, Thanks for the visit today. These pictures are beautiful. I am SO ready for fall. It doesn't quite look like this in Texas right now, we need rain bad. The photo of the moose in the lake gave me chills. Amazing nature. Lisa
The photos of the fall foliage are beautiful! Thanks for sharing. We never get much color except yellow on trees here in NE. Vines and sumac turn beautiful red however. I hope to see the New England foliage in the fall someday when I retire from teaching.
Oh, how beautiful! Fall is my very favorite time of year. I get quite giddy when I start seeing the change around here...and it's beginning to happen. YAY! ;)
Have a blessed Sunday, Laura.

Your pictures are so beautiful! Love all the red in the trees. Unfortunately it is still in the 90s here and we won't see leaf turning for a while yet.
I had the tiniest peak at a tree full of gorgeous orange leaves before I left. It made me very happy and sad at the same time. I will miss this season and will live vicariously through your photos.
Wonderful pictures!
