what is it about the sea's inspiration? you have captured an aspect of its beauty and so perfectly paired it with the "bits of blue" bottles. thank you, kindly.
You are so artistic in arranging things! I am an artist and I want to paint all the still lifes you arrange!! The aqua blue glass and the shells, rope and weathered wood---how great is that! I love this post..it called me back to look at it 3 or 4 times!
I would feel decidedly more peaceful if I could dance over and live closer to you and that gorgeous blue glass. The green glass vases are spectacular too. DO you think an apple picking ladder would fit into my hand luggage? ;-) You do allow me to dream Laura. Much love
Browsing blogdom and came across your wonderful photos. Love the colours and as I dream of the sea....lovely. I can 'feel' something coming on with my spinning, I love getting colour ideas from things that I see - best wishes.
Gorgeous, summery seaside images Laura. Doesn't the blue glass go well with seashells ? That's probably because sea glass is found on the shores along with shells and they are natural partners. Thanks for your lovely wishes and I'm sending them right back !! Have a lovely weekend. XXXX
Why is it that blue glass just says "Summer Breezes!" no matter what the season? We live in South Texas, where summer is the season we go hide except early morning and late evening (when temps are only in the 80's) but the images you posted make me think of our time in Florida, when summer was just as hot, but we had the ocean nearby. :~) Thanks for persevering with the Blogger! I had a fight w/ it yesterday, too.
Just beautiful, Laura! Not only do your blue glass pieces and shells remind me of the ocean but of times spent leisurely taking in the peaceful serenity of gentle waves pounding the shore.
By the way, I'm so glad Blogger co-operated, so you could share the remainder of this lovely post. ;)
