Don't know what those little figures are, the pile with the bunny on top, but I'll take a bucket full, please! How fun would it be to craft with those? And I've never, ever, ever seen that many hose nozzles in one place. Ever!
I'm having a give-away over on my blog this month. Hop on over and check it out!
ooh, yes I see something interesting between the beautiful pictures. What do you think about the beautiful scale. The towels, great. I like it to make some pillows from it...
Last time I was Stateside I bought a set of white spice jars just like the ones in photo 4. I love them! Makes me want to hop on a plane and buy the lot.
hello friend. looks like a great selection there. haven't been to webster in a zillion years. must put that on the to do list before summer when it becomes less fruitful. hope you are well. thoughts and prayers for you and your family.
Oh gosh Laura what a wonderful place to spend the day. I love the linens and the old buttons...you name it ...I love it! I hope your day was a beautiful one. Maura :)
What a fun market!! I sometimes wonder, with all the antique stores and fleamarkets, where does all the stuff come from??? Think about how many people must have held on to things....back before we had a throw away society. Annette
Oh my goodness I just found your blog via my friends blog Bohemian Valhalla. I love this post! I wish I could reach right into the pictures and take that tantalus home with me! Vanna
Amazingly clear photos. What is your secret? I have a point and shoot, but don't get this quality. Thanks for taking us along. Looks like a wonderful flea. ~ Sarah
Ohhh yeas! I see many things that I like. Especially old linen, buttons, laces......
I´m so happy because the other day I visited a friend of mine, and he is the owner of the most fantastic little shop! I know that you would like it very much :) I bought some things there and when I went home in the evening I was smiling all the way home. I was sitting there in the silence - no radio - and just enjoyed that wonderful feeling of happiness. Wish you a nice weekend! Mia
Well HOLY COW! That is SOME flea market! My heart actually sped up looking at these great photos! I love so many things! The bright green glass ware, so FUN! I wonder what those cream colored molded items were (like the little bunny)? So cool! ...and those buttons...SWOON! Thank you so much for sharing, you brightened my day!
Hello Laura, I am a new follower of your blog and loving it every time I stop for a visit. Today you took me along with you and Mr. Flea to this wonderful flea market. I had a great time and was sorry to not be able to virtually spend any money there. However, your photos looked so enticing.....the way the sun hit the crystal, the colorful stacks of vintage lines, the antique and vintage buttons just wanting to be touched.
It will be hard to get back to today's "to do" list as I would rather go out and scope out my own treasures. Your blog will have to do until this awful job market in Michigan improves.
Thanks for your wonderful blog. My blog is almost ready to be released into the blogging world but not quite yet. I'll continue to enjoy yours for as long as you put it out there.
Wow Laura, you have captured some great things on photo! I am esp. drawn to the grain sacks and the plaster (?) bunnies! I just love flea marketing so much & can't wait for flea market season to be in full swing here in the Chicago area! :) I can get so lost in one in a good way.. total therapy for me! Happy weekend! Lara
My heart actually skipped a beat looking at all the rolls-actual ROLLS-of the vintage red striped fabric and linen!! How fast can I book a flight to Webster?! Enjoy!!
Loved the rolls of red striped fabric! And was happy to see the clear glass salt dishes. We found about two dozen in my husband's childhood home. I stacked them up on the open shelves in the kitchen where we store our vintage glassware.
OMG, I soooo luv your blog and all the wonderful pictures on your sidebar too! Thank you for sharing with others. Ü Wishing you an enjoyable week-end, Barb in Texas
Wow, now THAT's a flea market I would love to go to! I want everything. Well, almost. I'm missing my usual flea this Sunday because I have to work. Darn.
I love the little things that look like wood with the bunny laying on top. What are these things? Oh, Laura I could not have walked away from the wonderful linens...not that I need any more! Cleaning out the garage right now...so what am I thinking... Lots and lots of love, miss you so much, Evi
Hi, Laura! I checked out your blog this evening after seeing it featured in Artful Blogging. So many of your gorgeous photos caught my eye--but as a recent convert to the world of altered art, the handmade book pictured under the heading "Journal on My Journey" was definitely my favorite! Was it a flea market find, or did you use some vintage pieces from your collection in creating it? So very inspirational!:-)
LOVE your blog. I've spent the morning looking at it instead of working to finish a piece for Etsy. Your photographs draw me right into them. I want to be there. Where is this wonderful Flea Market? There's nothing like that near where I live. I invite you to stop by my blog and leave me a note http://atimeforpaper.blogspot.com/
Ooooh don't you just love the "back" section at Webster?! I live here in Orlando and only get to go a couple of times a year (read that as Monday holidays - stupid job!) The last time I went I left empty handed...so sad. Especially since I practically have to pack breakfast, lunch and dinner for the drive to and from. Usually it's totally worth it! They had some good stuff for you trip - i'm jealous!
I have just found your blog and couldn't believe when i read the post about Webster! I just posted about it myself this past week! On another note I am so sorry to read of your Mother's passing. I can only imagine the heartache you are feeling as my Mom and I are so very close as well. We just recently bought a vacation home in my parents' community down in Florida in the hopes of sharing precious time together although i think there's never enough time with loved ones. My heart goes out to you!
Wowwww!! too much !!! have a nice day darling........love and blessings......xxx...xxx...from me ...
