  9. Such a beautiful colour. In my line of work we refer to it as amethyst. Sounds jewel like doesn't it. The posies are pretty too and your photos simply bring them to life...

  15. Laura, your purples look amazing! Sounds like you're having a wonderful time with your family - so happy for you. p.s. husband and I will be going for a long weekend to Fort Lauderdale in middle of February (I need some warmth and sunshine to give my recovery a boos :)

  19. Oh so very pretty....what great composition. I've been craving some fresh flowers lately (and hinting to the hubs....but no luck). I think I'll have to venture out today and buy myself some. Only wish I had some lovely purple or blue bottle to showcase them in!

  30. Ohhh.....what a beautiful pictures of the purple bottles. When I was a teenager in the '70 it was the colour of my room, together with orange. Real colours of the 70er years.

  33. Laura, pretty! I'll bet you have some of the lavender glass too - the kind that turned lavender when exposed to light. I only have 1. They're getting harder to find.
