The barbecue spare ribs and scalloped potatoes are in the oven...
....mmm it warms the kitchen nicely on this bitter cold day.
A special thanks to those of you who missed me
the last few days and for your sweet notes of concern.
My Mom is being released from the hospital
this afternoon to the care of hospice.
We are so grateful that she has pulled through
her emergency surgery and fully expect to share
a beautiful Christmas with the entire family.
Thank you all for your continued prayers!
This has been quite a year...
...full of change, reflection and personal growth.
And...it's not over yet!
Although this Christmas season is quite different
as we face an uncertain future,
we are ever grateful for so many beautiful and joyful memories
of past wonderful holidays...
We will continue to try to make each moment count!
I hope that you are able to do the same...
:)
Linking up to Kathleen's White Wednesday!

ReplyDeleteHi Laura-So sorry you are going through this at this time of year. I still miss my mom and feel cheated that she passed so many years ago (22 years ago already, I can't even believe it). She is with me everyday, though. I know you will cherish each and every day with her and carry that with you forever....
