In Search Of The Great White Pumpkin!

Some of last years white pumpkins...

I haven't been able to find any so far this year...


Therefore....
...today I'm off to search for the elusive white pumpkin!

I think I know where I can find some....

  3. Happy hunting. I actually still have some from last fall! I just keep them in a cupboard...not touching (check from time to time), and I usually have several that make it through! The white pumpkins are really hard to find here in Florida, especially this early!

  9. Love them.Two years ago they were all over and I even bought some at GASP, Walmart.Last year they went into hiding and I had to go without.So far I've only seen orange...Good luck and happy hunting.

  12. White pumpkins are my favorite! Sometimes I mix them with the blueish grey ones (forget the names of those). I was lucky last year and found a whole bunch of them at Traders Joes. Good luck with your search!

  22. I love the white pumpkins! Last year our garden centers ran out of them. I am thinking of buying some and keeping them in the garage away from the squirrels until Halloween!! ;-D

  24. I KNOW! Darn they're hard to find. I looked eVerYwHerE for the seeds for the white mini pumpkins.... I finally bought fake ones at the dollars store and I'm going to paint the buggers.

  28. Oh please find some for me too Laura, white ones are so hard to get over here and I had no luck with my search high and low so far *sigh* Well I already decided to sow my own white pumpkins next Spring, so I will hopefully not have this prolem again.

  34. Those are beautiful, Laura. I have never seen them! I am in Croatia today (we just came from Prague) and I did see some white truffle stands along the road! How is that for fun?

  35. White pumpkins are my choice too, but it's a bit early to buy them unless I keep them in the house where it is cool. I did pick up a sack of the baby boos to make an arrangement. Now I'm ready to buy some larger ones to make a centerpiece for my dining room table. Good luck with the search.
