What's In This Box?
While searching for those green silk panels that Kate and I found in Anthropologie a few years ago...the ones she used in her apartment back in college...I came upon this old candy box...
Some hidden treasures!
Some antique decorative hair combs and a tortoise pin in the shape of a starfish...
...a copper beaded purse...
A little silver and black beaded bag and another rhinestone and tortoise comb...
And a SINGER advertising fan in perfect condition!
Pretties from a bygone era...
I had forgotten about these...
What else will I find?
It was a fun day shopping with Kate and her sweet boyfriend..
...these two, both talented artists had me laughing as we searched IKEA and Home Goods for the right accessories and necessities for Kate's apartment.
This morning it is back to cleaning and sorting...
...although Mr. Flea may have other plans as it is supposed to be another beautiful spring day!
Happy Easter, Happy Spring to all!
:)

Laura,
ReplyDeleteIt seems that 'out of office' agrees with you! I'm having a wonderful time...living through your adventures. :-) I have a couple of years and will be able to do the same thing. Enjoy your time...after all those years of working hard for someone else, it's about time you can 'play' hard for yourself. Maybe start painting?? ;-) Tami
Laura!!!
ReplyDeleteOh please.. if only I could find a stray box and it would contain beautiful beaded purses... then life would be complete!! hehe.. actually I think you have me inspired.. I cleaned out 2 shelves in another cupboard today.. all i found was old computer equipment ready for the dump.. no where near as exciting as your finds.. Have fun today... and a wonderful Easter if I don't see you beforehand.. xxx Julie
