We will have lots of daffodils in our gardens in a few more weeks.
I simply couldn't wait!
There they were... waving at me by the bucketful as I pushed my shopping cart down the aisle...
Two bunches jumped right in next to the asparagus and looked up at me with their sunny smiles...
Who could resist?
...certainly not me.
A sunny yellow daffodil is like a great big silly grin!
Here is a bunch just for you!
Have a great Wednesday!
:)

Daffodils have got to be one of the prettiest flowers! They were my Grandmother's favorite flower and they are also my daughters favorite.
ReplyDeleteLove Dafi's..gorgeous photo's..~Lulu
ReplyDeleteHey Laura. They are so pretty and just scream Spring, don't they. I just found 3 blooms in my garden today. Not nearly as big and robust as yours but pretty all the same. I think mine are more ruffled or something. I'm just always amazed when they bloom here because we have so little cold. But not this year we had lots of cold, now if I would just water or feed them. hee-hee. I have lots of ferns, cast iron plants and canna lilies. I'd be happy to exchange with you if you ever want to.
ReplyDeleteHugs and Happy Wednesday....Tracy :)

ReplyDeleteOh yes, I love dafs too. The ones in my garden have some time to go yet before they'll bloom, but I brought some bulbs indoors where they are now flowering their little hearts out. So pretty and fresh! I can understand why you couldn't resist them!
ReplyDeleteI can understand that you can't wait for the ones in the garden to pop up, and they are lovely to spread around the house, are they not! I love the enamel mug - the daffodils looks so beautiful in it!

Cathrine :-)

ReplyDeleteDear Laura,
ReplyDeleteWell, you and I must have been living a parallel life. I was in the supermarket yesterday, without my tophat on, and I placed two bunches of daffodils in my basket. SNAP !!
They are now sitting on my windowsill, still with buds tightly closed but, with the warmth of the kitchen, they will soon be open. Daffodils just scresm SPRING to me.......AND, mine are sitting next to my old enamel coffee pot !! XXXX
Hello Laura,
ReplyDeleteohh your daffodils are looking like the real spring, and you made a lovely decoration with the old enamel.... but my favorite picture is the combination with the old weathered wood.
