Simple things...
...make my heart sing!Tomorrow night we expect a snow storm!
Do you know what that means?
It means Saturday morning we will sleep in (at least till 7am...)
...drink several cups of steaming hot coffee and be cozy and warm...
Then
Santa Baby a.k.a.
Mr. 52 a.k.a.
Rob... will go out to play in the snow (er...shovel a little)
... and maybe...instead of doing chores...
I will bake a little, craft a little and make some Valentine magic...
What makes your heart sing?
:)
Love your heart from the sheet of music. Simple things I love; watching the birds at the feeders in winter, fussing at one another as they wait a turn, and, I confess, that we haven't actually had snow here. At least not yet!
ReplyDeleteSo simple...but you have so much creativity to put this all together in such a beautiful way!
ReplyDeleteYour pics made my heart go all aflutter! I hope your "snow day" is as sweet and relaxed as you envision too!
ReplyDeletepst...we're trying our first linky party...hop on over and enter some clever ways to serve up superbowl snacks...and FUN!
OOOhhh, snow sounds wonderful! We've had rain, here in Oregon, and I heard next week is sunny! THAT makes my heart sing! This weekend, we're getting my greenhouse going! Another song haha.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect snow day. I would play in the snow and then walk around and take photos. Then I'd be ready for hot chocolate.
ReplyDeleteLove your musical hearts!
you certainly do have a knack of putting things together, which we see each time you put a blog up. but, more n'more i appreciate all your touches. it's a no wonder the magazine chose you. whatever you do would make my heart sing.Bestest,Denise
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLately, what makes my heart sing is just having some quiet time. Time when my mind shuts down, when I'm not worrying about this or that.
Enjoy the snow! :-)
Anne
It has been snowing here today since mid-morning......
ReplyDeleteYour Saturday plans sound great! We are hoping to get out to the tiny little area flea market if the weather is better. It got snowed out last month. Drat.

C'est dans la simplicité qu'on trouve le bonheur ... you can find a lot of joy in simple things! Have a nice weekend. @nne
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed your blog for a while! We have snow here too! Your "52" caught my eye. I was born in '52. My heart sings... love from a husband since '73, hugs from students, smiles from my grandkids, and a lick from my dog! Janice
ReplyDeleteWhen Santa Baby, I mean Mr. 52 comes in from shoveling snow, you'll be there to warm him up, right?

Laura amor, I love your hearts...so simple yet beautiful...As for your weekend plans....I am thinking I am gonna steal your ideas :) I have a pink stone heart maybe quartz..that I bought a couple of for me and my Ita (grandma) on one of our many outings to the beach that she and I so loved...I kept a few of them and gave her the one with the most cracks because it was the one that she picked...I asked her why she wanted one that looked like it was going to break so easy with so many lines and cracks and she said, sometimes you have to look beyond the broken and the ugly to see the beauty inside...when she passed, I buried my favorite pink heart with her and hers...the imperfect one, I kept...it is now one of my most prized, simple...yet so beautiful items that remind me of her, it goes with me everywhere, everytime I change purses it comes with me and I can't tell you the calmness that comes over me when I hold it in my hand and caress it :) Besos, Rose
