those hydrangeas are so very pretty...especially next to the white pumpkins and that sweet blue glass bottle! your photos are so inspiring! and thanks for the sweet comments and for following my blog!
I am expecting a bin liner of blue hydrangeas to arrive from Cornwall today from my MIL! They grow like weeds at our family home there and I will take huge joy from arranging huge bowls of them for the house and for friends! This was a very timely post! I may put some on my next entry but I suspect mine wont be as beautifully styled as yours!
HI Laura More lovely blues and gorgeous photos to entice me..
It is going to seem strange when xmas gets closer. It will be colder for you and hotter for us. Can you imagine a heat wave on Xmas day? It usually is! haha
Well Laura...you had me at faded but then to be followed by hydrangea and it's everything that I love.!!!! I put 3 large hydrangea heads and some eucalyptus in an old white jug about 5 weeks ago,and they look just as wonderful now that they have dried off. They will probably stay there until I change them for a new lot !!!! Yours look beautiful with the white pumpkins (something that we don't have in England). Have a lovely Sunday, Laura. XXXX
Oh Laura, those hydrangeas are spectacular and up against the graceful white pumpkins - nature's finest, I say! Against the blue glass and sparkle, they are magical - and your photography is fabulous. xo Isa
Oh I love hydrangeas! My mom has a huge bush of pink ones in front of her house that I'm forever cutting and drying. Thanks again for stopping by Laura, and by the way I love your daughter's dolls. Definitely not the scary kind! :) Take care, Martha

Love all the soft colors. You know I have a confession. I had never been a blue fan til just recently. I think you've helped with that. The garland you bought from me years ago looks fab! I still have a few that I kept for myself but they look so much better with all your lovelies. xxx......me
Hi Miss 52! As you have probably read, two of my weaknesses are hydrangeas and pumpkins---especially white pumpkins. I love your photos and as I continue to say, you are at the top of my blog list! After our chats I think it was inevitable that we croseed paths. A new friend is an unexpected benefit of this blogging process.

I love my blue hydrangeas at the farmhouse. Beautifully photographed, Laura.
ReplyDeleteOh what beautiful, soft colors! They are indeed a lovely prelude to the "season of sparkle and magic!" :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful pallete; so soft and dreamy! I much prefer these muted shades of fall to the predictable orange and brown!

I added your blog to my blogroll quite a while ago, but I couldn't leave a comment here. It finally occurred to me to try a different browser. :)
ReplyDeleteBlue hydrangeas are my absolute favorite, and when they dry with vintage-brown hues, they are even lovelier.
Gorgeous blog. Thank you for all the beauty and inspiration you share. I'm so glad that I can now visit AND leave a comment!
