Parsely, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme

And Basil.....in darling little pots with numbered tags from Anthropologie.....darn that store....it's always in my way on the trip home from work.....
My friend Carole of Maynard Greenhouse inspired me today with her post on mint.....especially chocolate mint.....

A few weeks ago when celebrating Evi's birthday.....Evi arranged this wonderful box of herbs to bring to our friend Debbie who was hosting her birthday luncheon.......(which was sponsored by hubby Eb)....I know it's confusing....

The box of herbs is not only charming to look at but perfect for both Evi and Debbie who are amazing cooks with kitchens to die for! My intention was to send a sweet note to thank Debbie for her hospitality but I'm thinking that it may have slipped my mind.....so Thank you Debbie......it was a delightful afternoon with you and the Sister Act too!
(I may be overly optimistic that she reads this post!)......OK... I will send a note in the morning!
Good Night All!

  1. how charming those pictures are....I too saw those tags there, and thought: I could make those! but alas, I'm sure I'll just cave and purchase them as well....I'm on a quest to find some unique plant markers that I can make that look similar to those tags...
if you find any my friend, let me know.

  3. Love those anthropologie pots, I saw them in their catalog but in your photo, they're even cuter! I couldn't imagine having to drive by that store (yes, having to ;). The herb box is very nice. I'll have to go by Carole's blog and take a look at her post and chocolate mint sounds good, haven't grown that since we lived in Los Gatos, may have to get some this weekend.

  12. It's funny how certain establishments just keep getting in the way of our autos. Very frustrating..... love the herb arrangement. Great idea. Sharon
