Home and Garden Tour ....14 Barlow Residence

Beautiful.....

The very interesting home on this beautifully landscaped property is a renovated stable/garage that was built in 1921.......

There is a "riding ring' in the back of the home which is bordered by the Falls River....
Yes, that is Carole of Maynard Greenhouse who also will be posting pictures of this home and garden tour event....Carole, with her extensive knowledge and experience will be able to identify all the different varieties of plants and flowers for you....

Lots of sweeping views....

I love the way these succulents look weaving in and around the stone path....

This pretty kitty was dressed for the occasion with her silk ribbon but seemed bored by her visitors....

Two stall dividers from this old stable separate the working kitchen from the living/dining areas. You can see the original ladder up to the hayloft on the back wall....

That is the original floor showing.....

What a view!

Such an inviting table....

There were many perennials planted along the original stone wall....

Pretty fish pond....

This was the last house and garden on the tour......thank you for coming along with Carole and I as we toured the lovely homes and gardens in Centerbrook and Ivoryton, Ct. .....for more pictures be sure to visit Carole's blog.....
