Ribbons and Gold Watches

Having read the most recent Somerset Life last evening....I was inspired to create......

I dipped into my stash of old seam binding and lace.....

Found an old print in my stash of papers and ephermera....

such rich saturated color..........

Dug around and pulled out some pretty antique jars....and some old sheet music from the 20's....

and my collection of old gold watches........

I put some sparkly snow in the bottom of the old jar......

And voila!......a pretty display piece for my watches....

Years and years of collecting and stashing......ten minutes of creating....

Thank you to all the talented artists in this publication...you inspired me....I had fun and loved it!

  9. Wow, what gorgeous Ribbons! Fantastic, and the display for the watches look great! The perfect colour combination... I don`t like the colour gold, I'm more the silver-person :0) My skin's too pale to wear gold... but I would grab your watches immediately :0))) too beautiful! Greetings, Mira!
